ASIFA Central with Kendall College of Art & Design presents an evening with Ray Pointer


ASIFA Central with Kendall College of Art and Design’s Digital Media program presents historian Ray Pointer, speaking on his just-released book, “The Art and Inventions of Max Fleischer.” Max Fleisher was considered one of the most influential men in animation, his studio created the animation for Betty Boop, Popeye, and the original Superman cartoons. Ray Pointer has spent a lifetime researching the history of Fleischer and will speak on January 19th in the Woodbridge N. Ferris Building, room 217. Reception and book signing at 6:30 courtesy of ASIFA Central and presentation from 7:00-9:00. Books will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to the public.
